Sony has just confirmed that it's going to launch the Sly Collection on the PS Vita handheld console on May 27, bringing to it the three classic PS2 titles from the iconic franchise.

The Sly Cooper franchise was originally developed by Sucker Punch but, since the studio is focusing on the Infamous titles, Sony has tasked other studios with continuing the series or remastering the previous PS2 releases.

Now, it's confirmed on the PS blog that the Sly Collection, which previously appeared for the PS3, will soon be making its way onto the PS Vita.

In case you forgot, the new bundle includes the first three games in the series: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. All of them have been remastered and optimized for the PS Vita.

The new collection will debut for the handheld console on May 27.
