Sleeping Dogs, the thrilling open world action game that came out in 2012 and impressed quite a few fans is set to get the HD treatment and will debut on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this fall, at least according to a retailer from the UK.

Sleeping Dogs was an ambitious project from United Front Games that got published by Square Enix, after Activision dropped the whole thing based on quality concerns.

The end result was quite impressive, however, delivering a great open world set in Hong Kong and a thrilling story that focused on protagonist Wei Shen and how he infiltrated the local Triads.

Now, after quite some time since its 2012 release, it seems that Square Enix and UFG are keen on bringing back Sleeping Dogs to the new consoles as well as to the PC once more.

This is at least according to a listing from retailer ShopTo, which claims that Sleeping Dogs HD will debut on November 21 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.

No word yet on what these possibly remastered games might include and so far Square Enix is staying silent.

The publisher did re-release one of its last-gen games, Tomb Raider, onto PS4 and Xbox One in the form of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, so it's not surprising that it wants to repeat the process for another title.
