14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Activision announces that the upcoming Skylanders Swap Force will be launched on both the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony in the fall.
The new content introduces 16 new characters and, as the name implies, the tops and bottoms can be mixed in various ways, with more than 250 combinations for gamers to explore.
Skylanders fans will need a new Portal of Power to use the Swap Force characters and one comes bundled with the new starter pack, according to VG247.
Skylanders Swap Force will be offered in North America on October 16 and in Europe on October 18 for the 3DS, the PS3, the Wii, the Wii U and Xbox 360.
Launch dates for next-gen consoles will probably coincide with the moment they are offered in stores.
