The development team at SimCity is offering another update on the status of the game, saying that there are 24 servers up to satisfy the connectivity needs of the players and that the team is aiming to upgrade the capacity of already existing infrastructure to improve the overall game experience.

The official update adds, “We’ve already started addressing some of the issues we’ve been seeing with some of our players are having with trading intermittency and cities rolling back.”

Kyle Dunham, an assistant producer, says that Maxis will continue to work on SimCity issues in order to make sure that gamers can connect to the game at any time and never loose content because of server-related issues.

SimCity is a solid city building experience, but fans should wait for all issues to be solved before buying it.
