14 DAY TRIAL // The teams at developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts announce that they are now enabling the cheetah speed for all servers linked to SimCity, allowing gamers to create their regions faster than they were previously able to.
The official Facebook page of the game states, “Yes, it's true – we've recently brought back Cheetah Speed. We're also working on Update 2.0, so stay tuned for more info.”
Cheetah had been promised on launch, but the game suffered from serious problems and server load issues, and the Maxis team chose to first deal with them before adding more features to the city builder.
SimCity is set to also receive a 2.0 update that will change the experience and improve the core mechanics in order to make it easier for player to improve their towns.
