The development teams at Maxis and Electronic Arts still working on Sim City announce that a new patch will be launched for the game towards the end of the month that is designed to introduce a new tool to raise and lower ground.

This will allow players to create tunnels, bridges, trench roads and retaining walls.

Guillaume Pierre, a producer working on Sim City, offers more details on the coming update and how it will change the core game experience.

The team says, "This gives the Mayor new power in managing traffic and flow."

Sim City had big problems when it was launched, but the team at Maxis moved quickly in order to eliminate them and add new functionalities via updates.

The game is focused on linked cities working in the same regions to share resources and create complex demand and supply chains.
