14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer 343 Industries and book publisher Tor will promote the coming Halo: Silentium via a series of cryptic messages that will be posted on the official Waypoint site and on the forums of the series.
The messages will require teamwork from the fan community to be understood, and will allow those who get the secret information to unlock some sort of additional information linked to the Halo universe.
Apparently, both the physical and the digital version of Halo: Silentium will have embedded data that’s linked to Halo 4.
The Greg Bear-written novel is the third one in the Forerunner saga.
The official statement, quoted by Evil Avatar, states, “Tor Books has proudly partnered with Microsoft and 343 Industries to publish every book set in this iconic universe. The Halo franchise is an award-winning collection of properties that have grown into a global entertainment phenomenon.”
