Hideo Kojima, the game maker best known for his work on Metal Gear Solid, and Guillermo del Toro, a well-known movie director, are at the moment working together on a new horror title called Silent Hills, which seems to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4.

A teaser trailer for the project, which was initially only called P.T., was shown during Sony’s Gamescom 2014 press conference and invited people to get a new game demo on the official PlayStation Store.

Playing it revealed that the originally mentioned development team did not actually exist and that the title was being created by del Toro and Kojima, with the main character set to be played by Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead.

The actual name of the game is Silent Hills and both the initial teaser trailer and the demo seem to suggest that it will use classic horror game mechanics.

It’s unclear what the relationship between this IP and the classic Silent Hill titles will be, but it does use the classic music of the series.

Take a look below at both the original teaser trailer and a playthrough of the demo, which shows the actual identities of the developers working on it.
