14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Frogwares and publisher Focus Interactive have announced that the next title in their Sherlock Holmes series, titled Crimes & Punishments, will be coming out this year.
Arthur Conan Doyle’s popular character has seen numerous incarnations throughout time, and the latest one will try to explore the process behind the in-depth induction powers of the legendary detective.
The twist is that the game will offer ample choices to make, and if an investigation is not made thorough enough, the clues might point in the wrong direction, and an innocent person might be faced with criminal charges.
Crimes & Punishments will also allow players to make moral choices, such as not revealing the true identity of a murderer if they think what the person did was righteous, and having to live with a burdened conscience afterward.
Crimes & Punishments will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in Q2 2014.
