The Australian Classification Board announces that Saints Row 4 will be launched in the country in a modified form with a MA15+ rating.

The biggest change from the version of the Volition game that will be out in the rest of the world is that a side mission that involves virtual alien narcotics has been eliminated.

VG247 cites publisher Deep Silver as saying that, “To achieve this rating one loyalty mission featuring the character Shaundi has been removed.”

It adds, “The mission represents approximately 20 minutes of gameplay out of the hours available to purchasers.”

The main story of Saints Row 4 is not affected in any way and gamers will get access to all other loyalty missions and to all weapons initially announced for the game.

Yesterday, the Australian Classification Board also approved GTA V for launch with an R18+ rating.
