Volition isn't waiting for the PS4 or Xbox 720 before unleashing the next Saints Row

The resume of a developer from Saints Row studio Volition has mentioned that the upcoming Saints Row 4 would be launched for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, thereby confirming that the studio won’t wait for next generation consoles like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720 before unleashing its next big title.

The Saints Row franchise is a huge success for publisher THQ and the company already confirmed that a fourth game is coming.

While we haven’t heard anything concrete about the future game, the resume of Volition’s Lead Prop and Weapon Artist, David Payne, was uncovered by Superannuation and reveals that Saints Row 4 will be launched onto several platforms, including PC, PlayStation 3, or Xbox 360.

While this isn’t surprising, it does confirm that Volition won’t hold Saints Row 4 back until next generation consoles (aka the PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720) will be launched.

No other details about this are known but, until something official appears, fans can look forward to September, when the standalone Saints Row: Enter The Dominatrix expansion is launched by Volition and THQ.
