Marvelous AQL has announced that its Nintendo 3DS role-playing game Rune Factory 4 will not be making it to Europe.

“We regret to inform you that the European release of Rune Factory 4 for Nintendo 3DS has been cancelled,” the publisher's official statement read.

They have released Rune Factory 4 in Japan in July 2012, following with a localized English port that showed up in America in October 2013, as reported by Eurogamer.

The European release of Rune Factory 4's English port was also announced, but now it seems that the game won't make it after all.

Neverland, developer of the Rune Factory series, has announced its bankruptcy back in November, the decision being made due to changes in the business environment.

“Marvelous AQL and Marvelous AQL Europe would like to thank everyone for their support and enthusiasm for their European releases. Please look forward to announcements on new MAQL titles over the coming months," the statement concluded.
