14 DAY TRIAL // A rumor appearing in the most recent of the Official Xbox Magazine suggests that Thief 4 will be launched on the next home console from Microsoft, which is codenamed Durango internally and as the Xbox 720 by the public at large.
The rumor states that the new home console will be out in late 2013 and that Thief 4 will be one of the first titles to be launched on it, showing off the new graphical abilities of the hardware and the varied gameplay that it can support.
Thief 4 is currently in development at the Montreal studio that Eidos has set up recently and has since delivered the new Deus Ex.
The team has not offered any sort of official information on the game other than to confirm that a lot of choices will be offered and that stealth will be one of the core mechanics, even though the series will aim to have a wider appeal.
