14 DAY TRIAL // A fan of the Gran Turismo racing franchise has suggested that new downloadable content for the latest installment in the series might include the Australian track at Bathurst, after a team of photographers and scouts associated with developer Polyphony Digital was spotted in the area.
The fan claims to have actual footage of the Gran Turismo scouts acknowledging their affiliation and saying that a helicopter will be brought in so that aerial high resolution images of the track could be taken.
The Polyphony Digital team is well known for the care it takes when digitizing both real world cars and tracks that are included in its Gran Turismo games.
The fifth title in the series has just received an upgraded 2.0 version, which fixes all the issues the game has on launch and prepares it for more content during 2012.
There’s also a chance that the Bathurst track might be included in Gran Turismo 6, which has not yet been officially announced.
