The Leeds studio of developer Rockstar is looking for a graphics-focused programmer that will help the company port console titles to the PC.

The announcement states that the new employee will be “working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible.”

Rockstar says that the programmer will work with developers on next-generation games and experience with the PC or the Xbox 360 is required.

More information about the requirements for the game can be found in the official announcement, but the company does not mention what titles the hired developer would work on.

Rockstar’s next game, Grand Theft Auto V, is set to launch on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on September 17 and no plans have been announced for a PC port.
