The developers who worked on Grand Theft Auto V had plenty of ideas that they could have added to the game but were unable to implement because of the limited time they had to work on it, according to Aaron Garbut.

The art director tells Edge that, “I don’t feel like the game fell short, but there is undoubtedly a huge volume of plans and ideas that we wanted to do to push it further.”

GTA V is one of the most critically acclaimed titles of 2013 and has generated impressive sales for developer Rockstar and publisher Take Two.

It tackles a complex story told from the perspective of three characters and includes heist missions with plenty of player choice.

Rockstar has suggested that it will deliver more content for the single-player aspect of the game in 2014, while also expanding the scope of GTA Online.
