Leslie Benzies, the leader of the Rockstar North, says that his team already has plenty of ideas ready for the next title in the Grand Theft Auto series, although a clear decision on the sequel has not yet been made.

He tells Develop that, “We’ve got about 45 years’ worth of ideas we want to do. We don’t know what GTA VI will be, but we’ve got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right now.”

The executive says that all the resources of his team are at the moment focused on making sure that the multiplayer mode offers a solid experience for players.

They are also working on new content for GTA V, which will count as DLC, although Benzies is reluctant to use that name.

GTA V was launched in the middle of September on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and has set records when it comes to sales and overall revenue generated.
