Ubisoft reportedly intends to bring Rocksmith 2014 to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms, at least according to some recent rating descriptions coming from ESRB and the Korean Game Rating Board.

Both of the regulatory bodies released ratings for the two consoles over the weekend, and in spite of the fact that Ubisoft has not yet announced any new versions of its game, the evidence pointing to a next-gen version of the title is mounting.

Rocksmith 2014 is a guitar tutoring video game, sort of like a Guitar Hero where you actually have to play the songs instead of simply tapping random buttons.

The latest sightings of Rocksmith 2014 heading for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are not the first, as the video game was listed on both Amazon Italy as well as UK retailer Zavvi, as Joystiq reports.

The listings mentions that owners of the video game will be able to transfer any purchased DLC from the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game to the upcoming Xbox One and PS4.

Rocksmith 2014 was released last year for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One, greatly improving over the original (launched in 2011) in terms of interface and teaching tools, introducing a new feedback system for player mistakes and allowing players to master the craft of guitar playing more easily.
