Good news from Ubisoft for all aspiring guitarists reluctant to upgrade to the Xbox One or PlayStation 4: Rocksmith 2014 is coming to the two systems in November.

The company has announced that the game will include 50 tracks, with an additional 300 songs available through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, and that new content will be added to the game on a weekly basis.

Furthermore, those who already own the guitar learning game on last-gen consoles will be allowed to import all the DLC tracks they own, but the feature will only be available across the same system family, and you won't be able to make the jump from Sony to Microsoft platforms or vice versa.

The current-gen editions of Rocksmith 2014 will come with upgraded 1080p visuals, for an enhanced experience, and will also come with a few new features.

Musicians will be able to use the two consoles' streaming and gameplay-capture features to record their performances and share them with their friends, along with their creations from Tone Designer.

The PlayStation 4 version will also make use of Remote Play, enabling players to view songs for study, without any scoring or input required, on the PlayStation Vita handheld.

Rocksmith 2014 is headed to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home entertainment systems on November 7, 2014.
