Rise of the Tomb Raider, a sequel to last year's Tomb Raider, has just been confirmed using a cinematic video for a holiday 2015 release.

Tomb Raider rebooted the whole franchise last year, delivering a new version of Lara Croft, the iconic protagonist of the series. The more inexperienced heroine and the much more captivating gameplay impressed millions of fans first on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and at the beginning of the year on the PS4 and Xbox One, in the form of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Now, the team at Crystal Dynamics has officially revealed the next iteration in the new series, called Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The confirmation was made through a cinematic video showing protagonist Lara Croft visiting a shrink, as apparently the adventures from the previous game have had a big impact on her emotional stability.

In the video, you can also see some of the intense adventures Lara will go through in the new title, so you can expect some great moments in the game.

A holiday 2015 release period was mentioned by Microsoft, but no other details were given. As such, don't hold your breath to hear anything big about Rise of the Tomb Raider until later in the year.
