After a new video about Rise of the Tomb Raider that's set to launch later today was teased, the actual footage has leaked online, offering a short cinematic glimpse of a bigger presentation that's going to take place at E3 2015 on June 15.

The Tomb Raider series has been around for many years but only recently has it successfully re-emerged in the mainstream, thanks to the reboot released by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix a few years ago.

The next iteration, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was revealed to the world last year, but only later this month will the action-adventure experience get its final presentation.

Ahead of that reveal, which is going to be take place on June 15, during the Microsoft E3 2015 press conference, a preview video has just appeared online, a few hours before its intended debut.

As you can see below, for as long as the video is still available on YouTube, Rise of the Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft emphasizes the desire for exploration she saw in famous people throughout the years.

It also shows a bit of cinematic footage with Lara Croft trying to climb an icy mountain in Siberia, where Rise of the Tomb Raider will take place for the most part.

Check out the new video below.

Update: We've added the official video and the box art for the new game.
