14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that fans of the Transformers franchise might be getting a new single-player title in the near future, called Rise of the Dark Spark, which could be headed to the Xbox 360 from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Wii U from Nintendo and the 3DS.
The listing from Amazon has been pulled, but a fan site states that the description read: “The next installment in the incredible Transformers gaming franchise, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is an exciting action game that is perfect for veteran fans and newcomers.”
It’s unclear whether Rise of the Dark Spark is designed to follow at least some of the story that will be delivered in the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction movie.
The developer is also unknown at the moment and publisher Activision has not offered any comment on the leak.
A Transformers Universe title is also under development and will offer a MOBA experience on launch.
