It will give casual gamers more of a competitive chance

Drew McCoy, a producer working on Titanfall, says that Respawn Entertainment is aiming to make the coming experience focus more on quick movement and maneuver than on simple twitch aiming.

He tells Edge that, “Because you move so fast, it’s not about who aims; it’s about who outmaneuvers the other. I think it’s a response to the fact that we’re all getting older and our reaction times aren’t what they used to be.”

The fact that good movement on the battlefield is important in Titanfall means that gamers who do not play for a while will continue to have a competitive chance against those who constantly engage in multiplayer.

The new Respawn Games experience will add story elements to battles and will mix human soldiers and mechs with increased firepower.

Titanfall will be launched in 2014 on the Xbox One, the 360 and the PC.
