It's unclear whether they might need another game mode to work well

The development team at Respawn Entertainment has already announced that it plans to deliver at least three downloadable content packs for its recently launched Titanfall and it seems that the monsters first seen in the art book might be part of one of them.

A Season Pass can already be purchased for the coming DLC, but the team has not offered any official details on them, other than saying that more maps are already in development.

Abbie Heppe, who is a community manager at the company, explains to IGN right before the European launch that, “We are going to have maps added, and we're trying to give players as much of a varied look at things as we can so that is definitely a possibility.”

Respawn needs to keep Titanfall interesting for players in the long term and considering the multiplayer-only nature of the game, it would make sense to introduce some more variety of the enemies that gamers are battling.

At the same time, it’s not clear exactly how the monsters would slot into the modes that the studio has created so far, but the development team might also bring a cooperative experience.

The Xbox One and the PC version of Titanfall are now launched and the Xbox 360 one will be out by the end of the month.
