Sony and Nihilistic have just released their long-awaited Resistance: Burning Skies game on the PlayStation Vita and have also posted the launch trailer for the first person shooter, which shows off all sorts of gameplay footage.

The Resistance series may have started life on the PS3 but it quickly branched out and saw a title for the PSP, and now, through Burning Skies, reaches the PS Vita.

We’ve heard many details about the game, which is the first full-fledged first person shooter that takes advantage of the Vita’s dual-analog sticks.

Now, it’s finally been released in North America and Europe, so its developer, Nihilistic, and publisher, Sony, have posted the final launch trailer for Resistance: Burning Skies.

In the footage above, you can admire lots of gameplay moments, from actual shooting bits to glimpses at the stylized cutscenes that will be used to deliver story elements.

Resistance: Burning Skies is already out on the PS Vita all over the world.
