Capcom has just confirmed a release date for the PC version of its upcoming Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City shooter, which will appear two months after the PS3 or Xbox 360 editions.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, made by Slant Six Games, takes Capcom's survival horror series into a new direction, delivering a tactical shooter experience.

We've already seen the game in action thanks to several videos and screenshots and even got to see the special editions that would be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Now, Capcom has confirmed when PC gamers can expect to see Operation Raccoon City, as the game is scheduled for launch on their platform on May 18.

While that's almost two months after the game's March 20 release on consoles, Capcom mentions that special features are present in the PC version, like support for Nvidia's 3D Vision technology.

Expect to hear some more details about Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City in the near future.
