14 DAY TRIAL // Resident Evil 6 has just been rated by the British Board of Film Classification, with the organization giving the horror game an “18” rating and mentioning that the title has around 4 hours and 15 minutes of cutscenes.
Resident Evil 6 is out this October, but it seems that Capcom already has a working build of the game, which it supplied to the BBFC in order to get a rating on its content.
The organization handed out an “18” rating for the game, meaning people over 18 can purchase and play the game in the UK.
What’s more, the BBFC also mentioned in its rating that over 4 hours and 15 minutes of cutscenes which contain “strong violence and gore” but don’t require any modifications in order to adhere to the 18 rating.
Considering the game will take around 30 hours to complete, according to Capcom, 4 hours of cutscenes don’t seem that long. Feel free to share your thoughts below.
