Video game publisher Capcom announces that it is planning to launch a special Ultimate HD version of Resident Evil 4 on the Steam digital distribution service and via retail on February 28 of this year, for the price of 19.99 dollars or Euro.

The team explains, “In Resident Evil 4, special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue the U.S. President's daughter who has been kidnapped. Finding his way to a rural village in Europe, he faces new threats that are a departure from the traditional lumbering zombie enemies of the earlier installments in the series.”

All those who are willing to pre-order via Steam will get access to 60 tracks taken from the digital soundtrack and to a digital artbook.

The game is set to include features like Steam cloud, trading cards, support for Achievements, global leaderboard, and controllers.

A complete visual redesign means that the Resident Evil 4 experience will appeal to modern gamers.
