Bethesda is celebrating the release of its Creation Kit and official High Resolution Texture Pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim by slashing the prices of the actual game and its predecessors, Oblivion and Morrowind, for a limited time.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim delighted millions of players and, according to Bethesda, it quickly became the fastest selling game ever to appear on the PC platform via the Steam digital distribution service.

Now, the RPG has become even more attractive, as the studio launched not just a free High Resolution Texture pack but also the long awaited Creation Kit, which should make the modding process even easier.

In case you postponed buying Skyrim, now’s your chance, as Steam is hosting a 33% discount for Skyrim, as part of the Midweek Madness sale, meaning you can buy it for just $33.49/€33.49. The last two Elder Scrolls games, Morrowind and Oblivion, also saw their prices cut by 50%.

The offer will expire on Thursday, at 4pm PST, so you’d better take advantage of it as soon as possible.
