Bethesda is going to release the long-awaited Dawnguard expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim later today on the Xbox 360.

Skyrim has delivered a complex RPG experience since its release last year and the team at Bethesda will further enhance it by launching the Dawnguard expansion.

We have already heard quite a lot of details and even seen it in action thanks to a video and a few screenshots.

Now, the add-on is set to appear later today, on the Xbox 360, for those who own the English version of the RPG and are willing to pay 1200 MS Points for it.

Those with French, Italian, German, or Spanish editions will have to wait until next month before getting the add-on. They will receive, however, update 1.6 for their game later today, which brings mounted combat and Kinect support.

Owners of Skyrim on other platforms, like the PC or PlayStation 3, will have to wait until next month to get the expansion for their own copies of the game.
