Attic Entertainment Software's Realms of Arkania classic games have just been made available on Steam earlier today.

Realms of Arkania are a series of pseudo-3D party role-playing video games from the early ‘90s that have players travelling through various towns and dungeons, set in a European medieval fantasy setting.

Instead of featuring enemies as sprites in the pseudo-3D view, as was commonplace at the time, the game switched to an isometric perspective for a turn-based tactical combat simulation.

The games are based on the German pen&paper role-playing game system Das Schwarze Auge, developed by Fantasy Productions. The first installment in the series was released in 1993, by Sir-Tech.

Realms of Arkania 1 – Blade of Destiny Classic, Realms of Arkania 2 – Star Trail Classic and Realms of Arkania 3 – Shadows over Riva Classic have now been published on Valve's digital distribution platform, and are available both individually as well as part of a bundle.
