Ubisoft has just confirmed that it has remastered another one of its classic titles in high definition, this time with Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc getting ready to appear for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

High definition remakes have become extremely popular in the last few years, as quite a lot of companies have started re-releasing their classic titles for current generation platforms.

Ubisoft, after deploying Beyond Good & Evil HD last year, has now confirmed that a new remake is coming, in the form of Rayman 3 HD.

The game will be released as a downloadable title for the PS3 and Xbox 360, via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, respectively, on March 21. It’s going to run at a 720p resolution with an improved 60fps frame rate.

There’s no word on things like support for Trophies or achievements, but you can expect some more details before the game’s release next month.

Until then, check out Rayman 3 HD in the announcement video above.
