The development team at Ubisoft is delivering a new trailer for the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege experience, which shows that the role of leading agent Six will be played by Angela Bassett.

The company states, "A new threat has been confirmed in our world: the White Masks. They are highly lethal and indiscriminate of age, religion, or nationality. To stop this organization, Agent Six is delivering a clear mission: to recruit the best operators from around the world. Team Rainbow must stand ready."

The trailer is designed to basically talk about the single-player element of Rainbow Six Siege, which has not been previously shown by the developers.

So far, the company talked about the coming title as being focused on multiplayer, with two teams of operatives who battle each other in a variety of modes.

Rainbow Six Siege will have a core single-player experience that can be played either solo or cooperatively with four other gamers.

The shooter is designed to focus on tactical action, with destruction and realistic weapons included to allow each situation to be solved in a variety of ways.

It's unclear why the single-player will focus on teams of four while the multiplayer is linked to groups of five.

Rainbow Six Siege will be out on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on October 13 of this year.
