Rainbow Moon, the indie role-playing game reminiscent of old console RPGs, is out today for PS Vita, accompanied by some attractive offers for owners of the original PS3 release.

Rainbow Moon is a tactical role-playing game developed by SideQuest Studios, initially released through the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 during July 2012.

The game is a mixture of old-school console RPG and dungeon crawler that includes tactical turn-based combat elements, featuring 100 different skills, craftable items and dungeons full of collectable equipment.

New players benefit from a trial version of Rainbow Moon that provides full access to the game for 90 minutes. The trial can be replayed as many times as you want and any progress made can be carried over with the purchase of the game, listed at $15 / €11.

Owners of the PS3 version benefit from a special 50% discount for Rainbow Moon on PS Vita. Additionally, PlayStation Plus subscribers benefit from an extra 20% discount during the first two weeks of the launch, shrinking the title's price tag to as little as $6 / €4.5, as PlayStation Blog informs.

The latest update features numerous bug fixes and improvements and adds cross save support, thus including the possibility to import old saves and share any new progress between both platforms. Additionally, all DLC purchased will be automatically applied to both versions of the game.
