Bethesda and id Software are finally set to debut the Rage role playing, first person shooter/racing hybrid tomorrow, October 4, in North America, and on October 6, in Europe, so the latest and greatest gameplay trailer has been released on the web.

Rage is anticipated by the legions of id Software fans, who've waited for a new title from the studio for quite some time. After seeing all sorts of impressive videos and screenshots of the game, it's safe to say that the new racing/shooter combination will be an impressive one.

Now, just before the game hits store shelves for platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, Bethesda and id Software have presented a new gameplay trailer, depicting the Jackal Canyon level, where the player needs to infiltrate a bandit camp in order to retrieve a data decrypter.

Until the game is released, you can enjoy in the video above a bit of the driving and racing gameplay, not to mention the actual shooting mechanics, showcasing both regular rifles or pistols, not to mention sniper weapons, crossbows or rocket launchers.
