The development team at id Software working on Quake Live has announced that it is adding more content update for those who are either Pro or Premium subscribers to the browser-based first-person shooter.

The Premium Pack 12 includes five new game modes, a new interface that introduces better match customization options with more than 200 settings and four new premium arenas.

The development team also announced that all the premium content in Quake Live was free until May 6 and new Premium and Pro subscribers would get one or two free tokens allowing them to extend their status or to give premium status to another player.

Any player can log into Quake Live for free and play the game, with access to 40 arenas, stat tracking, a friend list and one clan.

Gamers can choose to pay subscriptions to get more arenas to fight in, more game modes, more clan support and premium level awards.
