Ed Key and David Kanaga from the developer team of Proteus have announced that the game will come to PS3 and Vita in October.

Having received fantastic feedback from Edge, Eurogamer and IGN, the developers were faced with the opportunity to bring it to PS3 and PS Vita, featuring some brand new additions.

As a result, you now have the ability to choose. Players can generate an island according to their current geographical location, as well as generate an island on both platforms for the current date.

Another feature has been added, allowing gamers to interact with the environment by simply using the back touch screen. More information on this particular idea will be offered as the game's release approaches.

Both developers have been pleased with the way in which Curve Studios have brought their game to PlayStation and by the fact that they have given it a nice finish.

Users will get the chance to play it hand-held and experience what Proteus is all about on Vita's OLED screen as well as on big television through PS3.
