Probably Archery developer South East Games has announced that a strange DayZ-inspired mode will be added to their archery simulator, before its soon-to-be release.

Created by South East Games during the 7 Day FPS challenge back in August, and having been recently Greenlit on Steam, the quirky Probably Archery offers a weird experience.

Being a mix of Surgeon Simulator and archery sim that allows players to fulfill their William Tell and Legolas fantasies, the game offers gamers advanced wrist, elbow and shoulder controls in order to line up the perfect shot.

The game has single-player practice mode (which is sorely needed, as the game's advanced joint manipulation controls take a lot to get used to) and multiplayer duels, and has native Oculus Rift support.

The team has revealed in an interview with BitPulse that their fiddling around with the game after being frustrated with the current state of the DayZ alpha has resulted in what will probably be the most popular mode in the game, but decided against spoiling the surprise.

Probably Archery is currently available for pre-order (which will gain users access to early builds), and is scheduled to hit Valve's digital distribution platform sometime this month.
