Juventus is the only team shown in the released images

The development team at Konami working on Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is following up the reveal of the new installment in the football series via an official trailer by releasing six official screenshots for the title.

They are designed to show off the increased visual fidelity of the Fox Engine, which the studio is using to create the simulation, and feature four players from Juventus and two images of the stadiums that gamers will be able to use.

The images look good, but the level of detail seems to be a little bit lower than that of FIFA 14.

The focus on the graphics of Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is a little misguided and the team at Konami would be better served by offering longtime fans of the franchise more details about the actual gameplay that they would be able to experience.

The company is willing to say that it wants to return the series to its roots, but it’s unclear how that can be achieved, given how much football sims have evolved in the last few years.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 is apparently set to launch on September 26, according to information coming from retailers, and will have to offer a quality experience in order to be able to compete with the EA Sports-made FIFA 15.
