The development team at Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive are launching a new patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2014, labeled 1.3.0.0, which is finally set to fix the final spring bug that has plagued plenty of lovers of the virtual version of the sport.

The two companies are also fixing RAM usage during stage loading, which should improve overall performance, and high quality textures are now enabled.

A new page has been added to handle transfer negotiations, and there are other fixes linked to equipment and to the crashes that were affecting some players on August 31 in 2015 and 2016.

Cyanide has also reactivated the feature that allows a rider to withdraw from a race because of his condition, and tweaked the mechanics.

There are also changes to the way simulations for hilly and mountainous stages work and the results they deliver.

Finally, the studio says that patch 1.3.0.0 for Pro Cycling Manager 2014 does not require players to restart their career in order to benefit from the improvements.

The company is still asking for feedback from the community of cyclist enthusiasts in order to see if there are any major issues remaining.

The 1.3.0.0 patch for PCM 2014 can be downloaded directly from Softpedia.
