Pottermore, the social network based on the Harry Potter books, is set to launch on the PlayStation Home social space from Sony, available exclusively on the PS3.

At the moment, the company is only willing to offer a teaser trailer, but more information is supposed to be revealed soon.

Pottermore is designed by J.K. Rowling directly and includes new content linked to the Harry Potter saga that has never been part of a book.

Fans and players will have to tackle a number of challenges in order to unlock it and will be able to also communicate with other readers of the books.

The PlayStation Home is a virtual space that allows players to create their own avatar and then play a number of free and premium titles.

Sony has hinted that the feature will be expanded on the PlayStation 4.
