After announcing the Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC for Portal 2 last week, the first video promoting the add-on has appeared and, in trademark Valve manner, it’s quite hilarious and over the top.

Valve has kept on supporting Portal 2 since its release last year, although its downloadable add-ons have been few and far in between, with the most important being the Peer Review map pack for its cooperative mode.

Now, a new add-on is getting ready for release next week, in the form of the Perpetual Testing Initiative, which will allow owners of Portal 2 to create their own test chambers and export them onto the Steam Workshop.

In order to show off this DLC, Valve has unveiled a new video made by the fictional Aperture Science facility in which its owner, Cave Johnson, explains how he's tricking players into building test chambers for him.

The whole video is hilarious and most definitely worth a view.

Get ready for the Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC for Portal 2 on May 8, when it's released for PC and Mac.
