14 DAY TRIAL // GameFreak revealed some illustrations of the Mega Evolutions of Sceptile, Blaziken and Swampert, from the upcoming remake of the Game Boy Advance classics Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will not bring Mega Evolutions solely to Metagross, Diancie and Sableye, as it seems that all three starter Pokemon will also get them.
While you might have already seen Mega Blaziken, this is the first time that Mega Sceptile and Mega Swampert make an appearance, in the newly released illustration for the new game, available below.
It seems that the creators of the game decided to give Sceptile the ability to drill your face with a proper Christmas tree, not just merely another random member of the coniferous variety.
The developer has not revealed what Mega Stones (in-game items required in order to trigger Mega Evolution) the three will use, for now.
The upcoming games will also feature Groudon and Kyogre's Primal Forms (depicted on the game's box art), accessed through a method known as Primal Reversion, which is related story-wise to Mega Evolution.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are scheduled to come out exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming device, on November 21 in Japan and North America, and November 28 in Europe.
