Sony is inviting PlayStation fans in the United States and Canada to watch the PlayStation E3 Press Conference live, in over 40 movie theaters across North America.

The PlayStation E3 Experience show will feature an HD simulcast of the PlayStation E3 Press Conference, hosted by Geoff Keighley, with 30 minutes of additional content, including extended game footage and interviews with some of the most prestigious game developers in the world.

In addition to this, Sony has also prepared some surprises for the attendees of the massive event, in the form of a few unexpected gifts.

The best thing about the whole show is that it's completely free, but since space is pretty limited, make sure to head to the dedicated PlayStation E3 Press Conference Eventgrid page, and register before the places near you get completely swarmed.

In case you don't live near any of the cinemas listed on the PlayStation Blog, you don't have to worry you'll be missing out on anything. The entire PlayStation E3 Press Conference will be streamed on the PlayStation Blog, on PlayStation.com and on PlayStation's Ustream.tv channel.

We don't yet know whether you'll be able to rate the event on IMDB or not, but in any case, are you feeling the E3 hype yet?
