Sony is getting ready to release the PlayStation Vita next week so, in order to get people even more interested, commercials for the device have already started appearing in territories like Europe or North America, each with different themes and taglines.

The PlayStation Vita hasn’t had the best of starts in its native Japan so, as you can imagine, Sony wants to make sure everyone knows about its handheld console ahead of its release in the rest of the world.

The first couple of ads for the device have now appeared and will begin to air in territories like North America or Europe.

First up is the one from America, which you can enjoy above, where Sony’s marketing the Vita under the Never Stop Playing motto, emphasizing the handheld gaming capabilities of the device.

In Europe, Sony is taking a classier route, as you can see below, with a tagline called The World Is In Play and showing that people can embark on all sorts of adventures thanks to the Vita.

What do you think of these ads? Do they get you excited about the Vita or do you think Sony should’ve gone with a funnier strategy, like with the Kevin Butler commercials for the PS3?
