Gamers will think about the software as well as the hardware

Jim Ryan, the leader of the European division of Sony Computer Entertainment, says that the biggest advantage for the PlayStation 4 when compared to the rival Xbox One is the increased number of titles that will be offered as exclusives.

The executive admits in an interview quoted by NeoGAF that the launch date of November 15 in the United States and the price are also important considerations for most fans.

But he says, “We will have published on the PS4, between November 29 and Christmas, there will be 34 games published. Of which more than half will be available on PS4, but will not appear on Xbox One.”

Some fans will pick up the consoles on launch and will not care about the games they can also buy.

Those who will wait until Christmas and might gift the Microsoft or the Sony devices will be more interested in making a number of titles part of the package.
