The PlayStation 4 comes with a 500GB hard drive, but the actual space that can be used by the console's owner is just 408GB, according to a new image that appeared online.
The PS4 is set to ship with a 500GB hard drive but, as we all know, the actual capacity of the disk is displayed on the box using a 1GB=1000MB logic (which is also applied to the MB and KB), even though in real life 1GB=1024MB.
This means that the actual hard drive in the PS4 contains 465GB.
Out of that space, users can access just 408GB, according to a screenshot of the PS4's interface that surfaced on Twitter.
Apparently, the 57GB of occupied space contains the operating system, a swap section, and different applications, including the Playroom demo that's shipped with each PS4.
