14 DAY TRIAL // The PlayStation 4 home console has sold very well since it was launched and the team in charge of the device at Sony is delivering a new video designed to thank gamers who have bought it so far and showcase some of the content that will be launched in the coming months.
The company has already delivered a comprehensive list of 100 video games that are in various stages of development and should be launched within the year.
At the same time, Sony states, “PlayStation continues to partner with some of the world's best and brightest independent developers to bring some of the most creative and innovating games to PlayStation platforms.”
At the moment, more than 1,000 developers have access to the hardware that they need to create video games for the PlayStation 4, although it is unlikely that all of them will be able to actually launch their projects.
Sony says that its next-gen console has managed to sell more than 6 million units since it was launched in November of last year and that the release of titles like the recent InFamous: Second Son has boosted its numbers.
Microsoft has not offered sales numbers for the Xbox One since earlier in the year, when the device went over the 3 million unit mark.
