The PS4 will receive a brand new firmware update tomorrow, February 4, taking its system software up to version 1.60 and bringing quite a few improvements, not to mention support for the Pulse wireless headset as well as other accessories.

The PS4 received quite a few new firmware updates shortly after launch in order to improve its stability and eliminate at least some of the operating system errors.

Now, software update 1.60 has been confirmed by Sony on its PS blog, bringing support for the original and the Pulse wireless headsets that were initially released for the PS3, as well as the new Wireless headset 2.0, which is launching later this week.

Besides that, general stability improvements and the ability to mute the PS4 Camera are also included in the new system software update.
