14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Sony Online Entertainment has released another of its Command Center videos linked to Planetside 2, their upcoming MMO, which tackles quite a few subjects, ranging from the introduction of the new continent of Esamir to the Heavy Assault class and how it can be best used in the game.
The video is 20 minutes long and features a lot of details from Matthew Higby, who is the creative director, and Isaac Tramell, who is the senior art director on the game.
Planetside 2 gets a new continent, covered in snow and designed to encourage players to use a new set of tactics.
The MMO also received a number of changes linked to skills and to vehicle use.
At the moment Planetside 2 is in closed beta stage and a full PC based launch is expected before the end of the year, although the developers have suggested that if problems arise they might delay it to 2013.
